1/2

I didn’t go to sleep til 5 AM. I was going through all the screen shots I took of our Facebook messages, trying to file them and compare them to his financials. I woke up a few hours later, already in prayer and listening to worship music. The song playing was, appropriately, Letting Go by Steffany Gretzinger.

I got to FaceTime with the kids for two hours, and it completely lifted my spirits. I love them so much. They’re such wonderful kids. God has such amazing things in store for them, and I’m going to be the best I can, so I can bring out the best in them.

I spent the next few hours in the Word. I read my Proverbs chapter of the day, and started my new devotional. My son and I subscribed to a Read the Bible in a Year devo that goes chronologically. So Day 1 was Genesis 1, Luke 1, and Jude 1. Oh my gosh. it’s like revelation after revelation was coming, and it all seamed together with the devos, books and Scriptures I’ve been reading since 10/6. God really does shout in our pain.
